Rear shocks? Posted by TonyJ [Email] (#407) [Profile/Gallery] (more from TonyJ) on Sat, 19 Feb 2011 10:57:31 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
2004 Aero Wagon 95K. While taking off the rr wheel to get a rim leak repaired, I noticed a puddle of oil beneath the shock. The rear ride height has been a little low lately, although we could get the camber in spec using shims and there have been no bottoming issues. Are the shocks gas charged? If so, new ones should raise the ride height, correct? I recall our 83 Mazda had this problem due to pitting of the shafts (poor boot design). I have searched this list a bit and found that Bilsteins would lift the rear considerably. Would stock replacement shocks e.g. (from eeuro) help to a lesser degree? Any advice will be appreciated.
