On my 2004 Aero wagon I started noticing slight drops in RPM and uptick in Turbo boost at highway speeds (65 MPH) then it would return to normal. It was like a slight hesitation. This was at 60,000 miles. This lasted for several months before it went into limp home mode one night about a block from home. I reset the TB and cleaned it and it was good for 100 miles before it again went into limp home mode. I pulled a P1230 code using my scanner. I replaced the throttle body with a new one from eEuroparts and it has been fine since (79,500 miles now). TB is an easy DIY.
