I am swapping the instrument cluster on my 2000 manual LPT no boost gauge with a cluster from another 2000 2.3L manual with the integrated boost gauge. 2 questions:
Do I need to have it mated to my car's ECU? I'm not particularly concerned about the odometer as the mileages are within 3000 of each other and I don't intend to get rid of this car until it dies (or maybe until I can pick up a used 2013 9-3 Aero).
Will the boost gauge work via the existing wiring harness, or do I need to do additional wiring and/or tap into the plumbing and add a sensor?
Thanks
