(3) hold the wheel in place. I guess if it's in P with other side down, OK to torque it while in the air with wheel off?
(2) so whacking the end of the CV shaft IN TOWARDS the car is what you have to do but using a punch in the center will avoid potentialy fouling the outer threads. says use plastic hammer. figured would use rubber mallet. sound good? I'll try it with a center punch and rubber mallet.
(1) how about whacking the stud bottom of the tie rod bolt up with a rubber mallet to pop it loose?
