Junkyard or car-part.com or do you have any indies in the area with parts cars.
And the same thing happened to me in 2001 - DIC failed, stranding me and I had car towed to dealer, tow truck driver of courses leaves keys in ignition which burnt the connector & wires, fuse - never blew.
Car was 2k miles out of warranty but I made such a stink at the dealer that I got the entire repair for free and a $ 100 certificate from the dealership.
Speaking of tow truck driver leaving ignition in on position, I am having floors put in the house and the workman turn and leave on every light they can find in the house, even in places they are not working, I ask them why and I can see the wheels turning and eventually an answer spits out "well we might have to work in that area tomorrow " . Then when they stain they of course leave the lights on and I can't turn them off till the next day - they probably break out laughing when they leave for the day.
