Yes, I know what they sent me is the level sensor. However they told me that the pump/whatever you want to call it which I sent them a picture of IS the level sensor, when it is NOT.
Once again there are 2 $80 or so larger cylinder pumps on the left and rear side of the reservoir. They both have a Saab/GM part number sticker and mine are made in UK if that makes a difference. This smaller pump/valve/whatever which is smaller than the level sensor and does not have anything resembling a part number. It has a hose that might be the rear window washer. The "left" big washer pump is going to the headlight washers. I hope the low level of fluid was the reason why those weren't working. Otherwise it's ~$80 for that pump. How do you know whether it's the pump or the check valves or the unit at the headlight washer itself?
When I say "left" and "rear" these pumps are on the "left" and "rear" sides of the car. The leaky part was in the FRONT of the car and it smaller than these pumps. The hose coming out of it is not as large diameter as the ones form the BIG pumps.
How many pictures must I take for someone to know what I need... sorry to vent guys.
E-europarts is refusing a return since the sensor and grommet were "special order" (didn't say that when I ordered but I had to call for it since it isn't on their web order system) and I sent them a picture and they said "it looks like you need the level sensor and the grommet" (total over $50). They said they sent a diagram and I picked the part I needed but he said, he said. They wanted to sell me the $80 large pump which for the last time is NOT the part pictured (I sent them the same first picture in my gallery before I ordered anything).
Do some 9-5's, say sedans without the rear washer like my wagon has, have the BIG level sensor in the front of the reservoir??? Their diagram was from SAAB. Seems like that thing can only go inside the reservoir?
