I have a 2001 Aero stick. I set the Konis at 50% or approximately half way. When I did the installation of all 4 I also replaced the outer lateral bushings, and the forward trailing arm bushing with a poly bushing. Also set the ride height to the right setting with shims or spacers.
I did not use "lifts" that sounds like .......well forget it.
Measure the ride height before you take everything apart. Also the Konis have 2 settings for spring height. I think one is below the normal rear spring perch height and the other 1/2" or so above. Check with genuinesaab*com they should know. Their spacers [not lifts] are nicely done too. I bought my Konis from them. Great people and good prices....terrific service too.
