Has anyone put in a 82 Degree Thermostate in their 9-5.
My car is a 01 Aero auto. I understand you should run a 89 Degree in 9-5 cars , I have had good luck with the 82 Degree in my c900, and 9000 cars,
but I hear it will affect performance in the 9-5 if temp is too low.
My car is cruising at about 9:30 on the guage fans come on at 10:00 , I understand the guage is adjustable with Tech 2 and you can also see what the temp actually is at 9:30. The car is just driven in warm waether lowest temp. would be around 40-45 f. So can a 82 be used to bring down the heat but still have performance and fuel milage ?
Has anybody done this ? Car also has a 3" downpipe into a Remus and a ETS Intercooler. The IC could maybe be making air flow restricted some.
