I have some new electrical gremlins that are driving me nuts.

1) every time I start my car my AC goes through a self check. I was told there was a software update on this website for that. I called the dealer, and they said no, they had to replace the ac unit... I hung up before they could even begine to quote me the money they wanted for their new boat.

2) every time I start my car the SID resets the miles and mpg reading. Its not loosing the date or any other setting, just those two.

3) I notice it at night, I'll have to look durring the day, but the dome light that comes on when you open your door only comes on part way, and then flickers. if I shut the door leave for 2 mins then come back its fine. I wouldn't mind other wise, but I often get my son in and out of the car at night, and its hard to see when there is no light. I live in a low light polution town, there are very few street lights, if any on most streets.


any thoughts on these gremlins? I don't think they are affecting the way the car drives, but they are annoying to say the least. especially the ac, like on a day like today where it was 103 on my way to work and I sat on leather seats for almost 10 mins with no air conditioning. once it kicked on it works great! and it never find anything wrong.
