Hello, We've changed both in our 2002 Linear, 4 cyl., obviously. The coolant bypass valve started leaking slowly enough to leave no puddle anyone noticed but did create a smell like burning plastic when the coolant hit the exhaust. It got worse real fast. The oil pressure switch leaked at a constant, manageable, rate and I'm glad it didn't blow the rest of the way out whilst driving. The posts on replacing both are well detailed. The one thing I can add to the description of the oil switch replacement is that after you remove the battery and tray, loosen the cable and upper-18mm-starter bolt; lying on your back with the oil pan in front of your chest, it's relatively easy to reach up the backside of the engine with your left hand and have access to the starter relay's nuts as well as to the pressure switch's locking wire connection. A longish (12") thin flat blade screwdriver is a huge help disconnecting the wire. Also, a stubby ratcheting 18mm box wrench was indispensable in cracking the starter's top bolt. Kira
