Sway bar link - can't get the lower bolt out

I'm going to tackle this again with an electric impact wrench (not a 90 degree one unfortunately). I have to pick up a 1/2" impact swivel. I hope that will work by going through the A-frame on an angle and then using a deep 18mm. I'm not sure how I'm going to hold that 17mm nut with a wrench against the force of the impact gun. Any ideas? All I could do by hand is get the bolt spinning. I tried wedging a 17mm wrench against the A-frame, but it tended to slip out or I just couldn't turn the 18mm nut. Maybe more penetrating spray overnight will help things tomorrow.
What has worked for others?
While I'm posting, are the Moog link's grease fittings self-tapping? I guess it is cheaper to have the end user install them. Is there generally enough grease in there when new so I don't need to grease them?
