If you recall my 03 9-5 ARC has had more than it's fair share of issues. 99% of them started when I had an indie do the 120K service. They stripped the bolts on the RH motor mount and it dropped causing the engine to sit on top of the CV axle pinning it between the engine and the subframe, of course this also cut the high pressure power steering line. I expect I drove 200+ miles that way before the steering got bad and I pulled over to find the problem....

Any way's I digress ..

After getting the indie to fix the power steering I moved on to another shop (I moved and hard to take your car back to someone that broke it that badly), when my AC cut out on me.

Diagnosis - bad compressor - OK lets replace it and while your at it, the car has been making this awful creaking noise at low speeds, can you tell me what it is...

Diagnosis - front struts, and the rears are there as well... Ok, I plan on keeping the car for awhile so lets take care of it...

$2600 dollars later (I sourced my own parts) and the fan speed controller goes out. This time I DIY the project and all is good..

Well except it isn't, now the car has definitive delay in shifting into Drive, and a very pronounced thunk (looking at the engine when somebody else does the shift sequence), it is noticed that there is SIGNIFICANT movement of the engine .. Great now I need motor mounts.. Well they are just going to have to wait till I pay down the CC from the last round...

But here is why I have typed this long dissertation.. I walk out to the garage tonight and there is a large puddle of power steering fluid on the floor.... Reservoir is empty - it is to late and I am to pissed off to determine where it is leaking.

So anyone in AZ want an almost completely rebuilt 9-5 ARC?
