125K miles. recent repairs (hehe)...fuel pump, oil cooler,
throttle body, pump and timing belt.
driving home the other day, and CEL started flashing. so i
pulled over within a half mile and parked it. during that
1/2 mile car was sluggish and would not tach or accelerate.
when i turned it off and popped the hood there was about 30
secs of white smoke from the firewall area, and down by the
cat. i let it sit for awhile, then tried to restart. same
results...sluggish and choppy.
so an expensive tow home, and i am at a loss!
oh and there were no fluid leaks or puddles under car. the
coolant still looks ok. the oil isn't milky. and it will
turn over, just needs a little help on the gas peddle.
please helpQ i have sunk as much in repairs into this car
as i paid for it. and i want my baby back!
