Howdy folks. Got a new issue I could use some thoughts on. Recently had the brake fluid replaced by a pro, and then replaced the front pads and rotors myself on my '03 Aero with 152k miles. Everything was fine after both jobs.

In the last week the car has developed a high pitched whine that seems to be coming from the brake pedal. The noise is almost electronic, like the noise you may hear when a TV is on but with no signal. It appears after releasing the brake, lasts 5-10 seconds, then stops. It also stops if you apply some pressure to the pedal but will come back when you let off. Always seems to go away within 10 seconds or so.

The car brakes fine with good pedal feel and stopping power. First plan is sometime this weekend to get under there and lubricate the various joints. Any other thoughts? Thanks,
