Hello, There are lots of posts on replacing the water pump. I know, I read them all. If I can do it, you can do it. The engine mount lifts away after removing the bolts. The P/S pump swings out of the way after removing the bracket's bolts. There's vacuum hardware and intake piping your grandmother could remove. The turbo intake pipe comes off via a torx socket. There are metal pipes which carry coolant over to the left and rear of the engine-all you need there is to remove the little tab bolts which hold them securely on the engine. The pump bolts straightforwardly to the block and has a 2.5" long adapter pipe which simply has an O ring at each end. There's a BIG tab on that pipe for positioning reference. There is a short metal pipe which carries coolant to the body of the turbo. It has a banjo fitting at either end. I'm so cheap I rubbed the copper washers on a fine abrasive paper and reused them-no problem. I swear the only trick I had to come up with was holding the turbo inlet's little band-clamp in an "up" position in order to tighten it. This is what I mean: The inlet horn sets against the turbo charger as if the two pieces were a pipe union. There's nothing as big as the ring of a pipe union involved. Instead, there's a band-clamp which surrounds the mating flanges. I used tape to hold the bottom (6 o'clock position) in place then tightened it. I'd recommend driving the car up onto ramps so you don't have to bend over as much. Kira
