Xenon Headlight Assembly problem on a 04' Aero

As of today I now own my first 2004 9-5 Aero. I took it to get inspected and was told the Passenger Side highbeam doesn't work so they wouldn't pass it. Took it home and did a little research and subscribed to alldata and I'm stumped. I tried swapping the headlight control units since the driver side highbeam worked fine. No difference. Also tried swapping out the xenon bulb and still no difference. I then tried swapping the entire headlight assemblys on both sides and now the high beam problem went from the passenger side to the driver side. So it looks like the wiring is fine and that something in the headlight assembly is causing the highbeam not to function at all. I tried replacing the cable going to the bulb to the control module but no difference... anyone have any ideas or useful links I could look into? Thanks in advance!
