I'm back after a 10 year hiatus. I had a 2001 linear which I loved but fell for the 04 Acura TL and that great sound system. I used to get 33 to 34 miles on the highway with the Saab but had minor issues with the windows, etc. falling apart with only 30k miles on it.

Anyway traded the Acura and its 22 mpg or so in on a 2005 mercedes e320 diesel and loved that as well, but I never forgot about the saab.

And now the 08s are the same price as a 2010 chevy malibu it seems to be a easy decision. I am getting one with only 30k miles on it and I am very excited to be back. I just got rid of a 07 MB 320 ML CDI which got very good mileage but was not that fun to drive.

For those who went from 01 to 08 what can I expect (besides the obvious power difference).
