drain and fill ATF

Hi, after reading posts here, I am going to 3x drain and fill the ATF. Before I start, I have a few specific questions:
1) The ATF I got is Toyota type T-IV. I think this is the ATF being used by a lot of people on this board. But I still need to confirm Toyota type T-IV == Toyota type IV.
2) I will need an 18 mm aluminum washer. I've tried Menards, but couldn't find it. Does anybody know where I can buy it? Also 18 mm is the inner diameter, right? The outer diameter would be somewhere like 24 mm, right? If I can't find aluminum washer, can I use other types? like stainless steel.
Thanks.
BTW, the car has 85K Miles.
