It depends on how much mess you want to make. Are you planning on doing the thermostat or has it been done recently?
Coolant thermostat fails often on newer Saab's in a way that they open too early and sets a fault code.
So if you haven't replaced that you should do it now and with that you can run a hose into the engine block and rinse out and through the upper radiator hose and rinse out radiator.
But these engines do not create nearly or any debris as they used to do.
The old 900/9000 years you could end up with a partially clogged radiator after many year of uses but since the radiator fail a lot sooner by cracking on these newer cars and that today's coolant is a lot better, I just about see no dirt at all that needs to be back flushed.
