That is the torque arm bushing, and looks the same as all original units do. Saab designed these to shift around some. Even after installing a new arm assembly it will continue to do the same.
I install the polyurethane torque arm insert in all 9-5 vehicles here at the shop from Nick T at Genuine Saab () com. Also inspect the RH upper engine and upper trans mounts. If they are collapsed replace those as well. Poly insert will transmit some, if any, additional vibrations to the cabin at idle in gear. We simply bump the idle offset in drive value up 40rpm with the Tech 2 to reduce for the added vibration if any.
