Seat vinyl/leather getting hard

I have a 2002 linear, the window sticker doesn't say if it has the "premium leather" package, so I assume it doesn't.
The seat coverings are beginning to get hard on the driver and passenger seats, backseats are still very supple.
I was wondering if there is anything that I can put on them to restore some softness/protection from cracking.
I've tried Obenauf's LP on them, but that is for real leather, it just sits on top of whatever these seats are made of.
I've also read about Meguiars M40 vinyl conditioner, but I read it takes A LOT of it to restore softness, and its truly for vinyl.
Any Ideas?
