2004 9-5 Aero wagon, 87,900 miles. Driving with four adults in the wagon on gently rolling terrain when I noticed a solid CEL. Car was running fine so drove it on home and read the code. P1301 - misfire cylinder #1. I checked this board and spark plugs were mentioned as a possible fault. Since the plugs were due to be replaced soon at the 90,000 mile service, I went ahead and replaced them with the NGKs and cleared the code. Driving around town afterward running errands the CEL has not returned so maybe the plugs were beginning to fail around the right time. Glad this didn't happen on our recently completed 3200 mile trip although it would have been an easy fix once I obtained the plugs.
