Did the procedure! Man someone should take the engineer/s responsible for this setup out back and do a number on them. I was completely upside down in the seat with my feet in the air swearing the entire time... i think id recommend pulling the seats out to do this procedure to be more comfortable doing the job - i actually think it would make it quicker. Splicing it isnt a bad idea after all, but that would need to take place under the drivers dash after removing the gas pedal. It would at least save the pia on the pass side and not even bothering with pulling the wipers and getting at the motor. The good thing about getting at the motor and the pass side is you can clean out the ducting and change out the cabin filter. Ultimately, it is a doable project that can take about 3-4 hours. Take your time, locate the unit next to the gas pedal, unbolt it, then follow the routing. Use the air cabin filter procedure to get at where the other end of the harness is. Its just 2 plugs that mount up to a panel on the pass side. study the clips on the plugs of the new harness to see how to release the old ones. One more project down!
