That's fascinating, I never thought of putting it back together without the BS. Do you notice any difference in roughness at any speed? Did you spring for new motor mounts as long as everything was out?
& how much did you spend on the project, was it better or worse than the used motor? Where did you get the new air mass or did you refurb the existing?
I know you like to DIY- how much of this were you able to do?
