In addition, the old one is defective Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Wed, 2 Nov 2011 17:32:31 In Reply to: seems unneccessary, anymore, AeroEd, Tue, 1 Nov 2011 09:08:57 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Sure it still worked when I replaced it, but it was causing intermittent CEL codes. It lasted 120K miles before starting to go buggy, and with 312K miles on my odometer today I really don't expect the car make it to 425K miles - regardless of how good it still looks and runs.
This is my dilemma; keep it as a short term spare (and hope it still works) for an event that will likely never happen, throw it away, or have it recycled and repaired. I wish the recycle option was a valid one.
My new DIC cost me $310 with shipping and I later found other sources that were slightly cheaper.
