Hi everyone,

My '03 Aero wagon is going through an evap leak issue that I've been trying to rectify. I've been getting P0442 and more oftentimes P0456 codes saying I have an evap leak. I reset the check engine light with my code reader to try and see when it comes on...usually at 3/4 of a tank.

My mechanic has resealed the fuel pump seal, fixed and sealed a few other things, and has even given me another gas cap to try.

This fuel mileage issue thing is more recent. Would an evap leak like this cause fuel mileage this poor in the city? The car is driving fine, full boost, don't even notice any driving irregularities. I will reset the SID tonight and see what the MPG looks like. But my fuel gauge has definitely dropped pretty fast on this tank so far.
