Just preparing for the worst case scenario. I just bought a 04 Aero and love the car and plan on keep it running for a long time. Replaced a 9k that I had for 10 years and was very reluctant to buy another Saab but was just not impressed with what was out there. I really hope they survive.
I have been waiting for almost 2 weeks for a turn signal from Eeuroparts. A common part like that not being available kind of scares me.
I have many pick and pull junkyards near me and have a friend that works at one so I get parts dirt cheap. I so far have the following that I think might be hard to get/expensive if Saab goes under:
Keys and twice unit.
ACC unit
SID
Radio
Spare TCM and ECU
MAF and throttle body
Brand new DI
2 alternators
power steering pump/hoses
2 AC compressors
complete set of self leveling xenon headlights and control modules and leveling sensors
Anything else I should get?
Some stuff I know will be available aftermarket but I can get stuff for very cheap through my friend and just want to save money and be prepared.
