If you mean the socket 899681 it is only a tool to tweak the front trailing arm bracket sideways when setting toe in.
It can be done by hand or with a prybar when the bolts are loosened somewhat.
It is many tools out there for each car when it comes to making it easier to do an alignment but many are not needed.
