Buy a NEW Saab? Now?

I just took my Saab to a local dealer. Not such a good experience, but that's in another post.
Anyways, as I may look to replace my 1999 Saab 95 Sportswagon, I look around at Saabs popping up in some of my searches. Is it me? Seems like whether brand new or used, dealers and used car dealers aren't lowering prices since last week's news. While a mechanic told me that he'd seen a couple roll off the lot for 1/2 price, I still looked at their website a few days ago and I hadn't seen a price I would pay for a new Saab after that news.
While I realize that some are saying that they may become collectible someday, I would imagine that there are people that, while they love the car (I love mine), they need to get from point A to B and the thought of buying a car by a manufacturer that may have the final nail driven into it's coffin is just scary.
Someone please enlighten me as to why I should hold onto my own car and just why anyone would by a used or new one. Is there something I'm missing? Just sayin'.
