TWICE is the brains of the whole operation. It monitors the doors, the hood, the glass breakage sensor (microphone), and the ignition transponder antenna. It sends signals to TRIONIC to un-immobilize the car when the right key is presented.
You may be thinking of the "siren" module located behind the left front inner fender liner. That is a "dumb" unit, and does not require any Tech 2 intervention to replace. All it does is make noises, and set that annoying message in SID when it fails.
