The CPS can be tested where it connects at top of the engine..pins 1 and 2
should have some restance; .8 to .9 ohms or 800 or 900ohms? When mine would not start cold intermittently (it would just crank and crank).. measuring my CPS..it had no resistance (open circuit).
The bucking sounds like something else though..DIC maybe? Thought that stored codes. Other thing that causes the car not to start is the fuel pump.. its really going suppose it could make the car buck.
