The H7 high beams are wired to not come on together with the Xenon high beams in US specification cars. European spec cars use Xenon and H7 high beams together. Some US regulation must have demanded this difference.
I do not know if wireing changes are required or if a reprogramming using the Tech-II test instrumtent will do.
On US spec cars the H7 high beams are only used if DRL is turned off, the light switch is in off position, and the high beam flash is used.
It has do be this way as the Xenons are slow starting.
