I went through several sets of the Kumho Ecsta ASXs on my '03 Aero. I don't have my records in front of me but I think I got 35-40k miles out of each set. Dry and wet performance was very good, they wore evenly, road noise was fine. Snow performance was pretty lousy but I was able to get around safely enough during our occasional snow here in MD. The price for those was certainly right via Tirerack installed at my Saab indy. I'd buy them again.

Currently have a set of the Continental DWSs which from what I can tell perform comparably to the Kumhos. They reportedly perform better in the snow but I haven't had much chance to test that yet. I spent the additional $150 or so for the set on these with the hope based on treadwear ratings and warranty that I'd get it back with an extra 10-15k miles of life. It'll be a few years before the jury comes back on that.
