Do any of these match whatever pixel pattern is visible? I had my SID repaired last fall by BBA_Reman for around $70.
CHECK OK - this one always shows
TEST BRAKE LIGHTS - only displayed if you have a very early SID, later upgrades eliminated this message upon start-up.
REPLACE KEY BATTERY - self explanatory
ALARM SYSTEM FAILURE - usually the siren batteries and/or capacitors have falied. Accompanied by random middle of the night car alarm activations.
LOW COOLANT LEVEL - self explanatory
HEADLIGHT FAILURE - self explanatory
BRAKE LIGHT FAILURE - self explanatory
I also used to get a warning regarding freezing temperatures. Like the "Test Brake Lights" message, it disappeared when I replaced my defective original equipment SID, not realizing they could be economically repaired.
