Hello John,
My apologies for not understanding you and Chad earlier. WEnt and got myself an inspection mirror and looked into the hole. You are right !, the tip of the bolt was preventing the socket from getting in. What a sneaky way for Saab to design it that way. For future use, maybe I will just grind down the bolt so it flushes with the surface. Thanks again folks for the tip.
