I am buying a 2008 Aero, retiring the 2000 lpt Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Sat, 11 Feb 2012 13:49:31 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
The new car is a 2008 Titan Gray Aero Sedan with Automatic, no other option packages, and only 33K miles. My old car is a 2000 Frost Gray Base Sedan with Automatic, Premium Package, 318K miles, and 12 years worth of goodies added.
The 2000 9-5 has been the best car I've ever owned but has gotten to the point where things are beginning to fail without advance notice, causing both myself and my wife to worry about being stranded far from home. It would still be a great car for someone who doesn't travel extensively and/or who has a back-up vehicle for parts runs or delivery waits.
Or who wants a Saab/Remus, or a 3-inch downpipe, or a larger intake snorkel, or a fully functinal SID, etc.
