There is a metal clip that runs over the top of it like most other headlights, then the D1S is held in a little better with a "teethwork" of metal pins, I'm not sure what else to call them, but you just need to pull a little harder and it should come out. Also the line that runs into the bulb itself has a metal clip that has to be flipped up to get it off.
