Am I being lied to regarding TPS? Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Mon, 13 Feb 2012 09:40:33 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
One tire is being reported as having low pressure via the SID in the 2008 Aero that is not quite yet mine. Condition of sale is that the selling Dealer (Cadillac and Buick) have it corrected. Salesman is telling me that the Saab Dealer across the street says there is no calibration required for these sensore. Rather the car just needs to be driven up to 15 miles for the sensors in the new tires (one still has sticker on the treads - cheesy) to correlate with the car properly.
Only one sensor is reporting low and tires all appear fine. I "assume" they at least checked the tire pressure.
Does this make sense? Does it sound like a bold faced lie?
Thanks,
