I have 2 Aeros. 2001 stick for me 2003 auto for my girl friend. They are both great Have owned the 2001 since new and paid lest the 9,000 for the 2003 about 4 years ago.

I would go for a good aero. Lots more equipment and not more maintenance. Great driving car too.

Buy the newest you can afford. 2006 on have GM instruments and some decontenting.

DO NOT buy the V6. At best a poor GM motor. Turbo 4 motors are real saabs and part are a lot more available and they are reliable.
