value is a number which is derived from various factors to determine the market value at end of lease. People, I think the market value will be same or better than residual values being given today. Why, gas prices are rising and people are sick of SUV's that suck lots of gas. I'd say the market is shifting towards wagons like SAAB, Audi, BMW and etc. More wagons have come back on the market is the last couple of years and they seem to be selling quite well.
Bottom line the residual value will be the same, the purchase price won't change the resale value, GM is very good at determining these values. but for the above reason and that OPEC is supposed to cut production I'd say value might be better than they are now.
I bet the Audi dealer isn't giving much of a deal on the price either. At what your SAAB dealer actually sells the car I think the value will be right up there with the rest of the crowd.
