Rear wiper blade options

The rear wiper on my wife's wagon is toast. I have inspection coming up this week and need to get this fixed.
With the nearest dealer about 1 hr 40 mins round trip, and eEuro charging $7.50 or so for shipping on top of the $20 for the OEM part, I want a quick, cost-effective solution.
Searching here says to use a Pylon blade but they aren't anywhere to be found in southern NH.
Can anyone confirm the Honda Civic rear inserts work, or is there another make of blade that can be trimmed to fit? The issue with other makes seems to be the width of the part that clips into the frame.
Why Saab made this a proprietary part is totally lame.
