longevity. The silverstars do not last long, and are not designed to.
Most of my driving is on lit roads and I prefer the safety benefit of DRLs, so the silverstars don't make sense for my particular situation.
That said, after much googling, I ordered a pair of GE Nighthawks that are supposed to offer more light than standard, while having more longevity that the silverstar. I will try those when the current bulbs fail.
So, you might check the reviews on Amazon and see if that's something that appeals to you.
