Passenger side oil leak Posted by EriknCole [Email] (#206) [Profile/Gallery] (more from EriknCole) on Wed, 16 May 2012 11:46:36 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I have a Gary Fisher 4 cylinder LPT that was running horribly earlier. It does have a turbo oil leak but I have just lived with it as the car runs ok and I was waiting for warmer weather to change it. I drove about 5 miles into town and the car started losing power in a big way. It was hot when I pulled off. I went to check the oil which was fine last weekend and there wasn't anything on the stick. I carry a few quarts around and filled it and it was down quite a bit. It ran much better and decided to limp home. Lots of oil spraying up from where the belt is onto the firewall and when I drove back home the oil pressure light flickered a bit until I parked it. A lot of motor oil on the ground. I have a dirt driveway so I have to go rolling in the gravel later. Any ideas though?
