Just installed in my '05 9-5 Aero with navigation. Scosche FM-MOD02 (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001QBG614/ref=as_li_tf_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B001QBG614&linkCode=as2&tag=thesaabnetwork). I had tried the Audiotroll before but couldn't make it work because the navigation wiring is very different. This was a pretty simple install; the hardest part was getting the navigation unit out. I'd had it out before and don't recall this being so tough.

To get out the navi unit you have to either have the proper radio removal tools, or you can do what I did: remove both SID and the temp control unit. Then pry up the tabs that are behind the slots for the radio removal tools; I literally had to bend them to make them all release. Bent them back when done and all is well.

Wiring: I used the purple wire off the back of the power outlet for power and used one of the common grounds (10 mm bolt) behind the radio. I drilled a hole in the glovebox wall for the wires to the switch and 3.5mm input, so it's all completely out of site. I plan to extend the 3.5mm wire and have it come out of the small pocket under the seat heater switches, or perhaps install another jack in one of the blanks next to the seat heater switches.

When you pick up the Scosche unit, you'll also need to get the antenna cable adapter set they sell because the 9-5 has a smaller than normal antenna connection. It's the 88 and up GM micro/Delco kit.

Purchased everything through Amazon. Currently the main unit is a little over $27 ($50 from Crutchfield) and the adapter wires set is another $12. Best $39 I've spent in a while.

The sound is impressive, and I'm picky about that sort of thing.

Cheers,
Mike
