Just did my shocks 4 months ago at 49K. My car's OEM shocks were bottoming out over speed bumps and with 4 passengers in the car, the ride was squishy
The Koni FSDs are a fantastic upgrade from stock. Couple of hundred more than the Bilsteins or Sachs, but the ride/handling of my '03 Aero wagon is just about perfect, and it corners almost flat now.
HIGHLY recommend spending the money on the Koni's if you are going to keep the car and you like sporty handling.
