The earlier OMs show the luggage compartment load of 176 lbs (80kg) assuming 4 persons in the car at a weight of 154lbs (70kg) each. If you add it all up, you get within 218 lbs of the GVWR, which basically neatly accommodates the roof load, or the trailer tongue load...

They seem to have erred in one line...

"Permissible load (in addition to driver) = GVW minus curb weight"

should have been:

"Permissible load (inCLUDING driver) = GVW minus curb weight"

Oh, and the weights for your car is on the data plate under the hood...
