I have a 1999 Saab 9-5 3.0 Turbo. While I was replacing the electric auxiliary water pump, I leaned on the vacuum pipe/hose that goes from the brake booster to the intake manifold and it broke off where it goes into the manifold. Not understanding how the quick release mechanism works that's in the "nipple" that is in the manifold, I crushed all the red quick release plastic trying to pry it out. Now I have to replace the entire nipple piece that slides into the manifold. I've purchased a new nipple and vacuum pipe, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get the old nipple out of the manifold. There's nothing sticking out of the manifold enough to get a good grip on with plyers. Is there a special "puller" tool for this?
