2004 Aero Wagon vs. 1999 9.5 Wagon

I have an opportunity to upgrade my 1999 wagon to a 2004 Aero wagon for an excellent price. My concern is that I do a fair amount of driving in snow and occasionally need to put on cable chains. These Aero's look awfully low to the ground with little to no room for chains. Can anyone speak to this? I plan to run 4 studded tires but we have a law in WA that requires chains on certain bad days unless the vehicle is AWD. Thank you.
