Yeah I had the fronts pressed on a 99 and it went bad again 30k later, as the hub was too worn to hold the new bearing - just put another in a different hub and not expecting much luck,,, Seems far easier to spend just a bit more and bolt up a new part that lasts much longer IMO
the switchover is 2002 for fronts from what I've read.
