Good to hear they were able to source an IC to get you back on the road. For the 9-4X and NG9-5 (and late model NG9-3) my real concern is parts availability over a long(er) period of time. If parts are not able to be sourced for a 2 year old vehicle how about in five years? There is a very limited number of these out there to end up in junk yards for parts, and lower market values, which may lead insurance adjusters to total the vehicles easier.

Simple everyday items such as vehicle keys and service related parts are on massive backorder for all Saabs from 1999. Have two clients with vehicles which lost their keys and are unable to get replacements. Currently sourcing a complete lock cylinder set (ignition, door, glovebox, trunk) along with keys and TWICE modules to get them back on the road.
